All right so I"m so excited about tomorrow, well today actually. My best friend from high school is getting married and I have not been this excited about stepping foot into First Baptist Church in Batesville! I am excited about two things to be honest, first of all, this is my first big performance that I have had in a while and it is ONLY ME (I am not using music)! Secondly, I feel like this is the start of the year of weddings!
I am singing "Sweet, Sweet Spirit" and Alicia approved so that makes me super happy. I joke that this is my "coming out of retirement" performance because I honestly haven't done any solo performances in what seems like years and it is not because I have lost my passion for singing it is just that I have been so busy with school/work/life that I do not have time to just sit down and sing. I miss it.

Love/Hate
So lately, I've had a love/hate relationship with sleep. Like I can be totally sleepy when I head to bed, then as soon as I get in bed I'm WIDE awake! I mean like I am up til the sun rises most the time and I don't now why!
If I don't get this under control I am going to be SCREWED when I get to Disney because they aren't forgiving about being late like some work places and if I want to continue in the company then I can't be late to get write ups!!

Hi guys!!
Hey everyone! Ok so I'm Hollie and this is where I will be posting blogs telling about my experience while taking part in the Walt Disney World College Program!
A little bit about me:
I am a junior at Delta State University where I am studying English Education. I have always lived in Mississippi, but not in the same place. From the time I was born to when I was 15, I lived in Batesville, MS. When I was 15 (a junior in high school) I moved to Brookhaven, MS to attend the Mississippi School of the Arts. After graduation I began to attending DSU. I have an amazing group of friends and family there are my support team and I honestly don't know how I'm going to make it without them while I'm inFL, but I plan on making new friends while I'm there.
A little bit about the program:
I have always wanted to be in the Walt Disney World College Program, WDWCP, ever since I've known about it. However, time hasn't been right for me until now. I applied for several roles, including character performer, attractions, and food service. I auditioned for character performer and sadly I didn't pass. Oh before I go any further, I didn't go through this process alone! My roommate Ginger and my good friend Nikki also applied and auiditioned with me. Well all three of us were offered different roles! Unfortunately, Nikki nor Ginger are able to participate in the program for reasons that were more important and although I will miss there terribly I will be going. My role is as a Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique Hostess where I will be a "Fairy Godmother In Trainging", I basically get to dress up little girls all day in princesses! I will be in Florida from the 19th of August until the 8th of January, and unless I chose to extend, I will return home for the spring semester to continue my degree.
Alright well that is all that I can imagine that is of importance at the moment! Leave comments or questions if you have any!
